PBGSA Events |
| Fall Welcome | The Fall Welcome is an informal get together
at the beginning of the school yeaer for all associates, friends, and family
of the Plant Biology Graduate Group. It is the first opportunity for new
graduate students to meet students and faculty outside of their lab groups
or department. |
| Fall Colloquium | The Fall Colloquium is a yearly event
sponsored by the Plant Biology Graduate Student Association in which graduate
students at all levels of study (master's students, Ph.D students, old and
new students) have an opportunity to present their research proposals or
results to their peers and faculty in a semi-formal atmosphere. It also
gives everyone a chance to become acquainted with the research projects
being worked on by members of the Plant Biology Graduate Group. A speaker
is nominated and elected by the graduate students to come and give the keynote
address. |
