Research in this lab is focused on the response
of plant and model bacterial cells to environmental stress, particularly UV radiation
and challenge by pathogens and their elicitors. Recent work
investigates the mutational effects of reactive oxygen and the ways that cells repair oxidative damage to their genomes.
