Section of Plant Biology	At UC Davis, the Section offers a broadly based undergraduate major in plant biology, studies of plants as organisms, ranging from algae to higher plants

UC Davis Herbarium	The herbarium provides • Plant identifications and relevant plant toxicity information •Information requests (on weed plants, plant references, books, etc.) •Herbarium specimen loans (loaned to research or academic institutions)
Entomology Club at UC Davis	The Entomology Club is a group of students and affiliates at UC Davis that have an interest in promoting entomology as a science and as a hobby. The club plans collecting trips and hosts speakers for informal weekly meetings. All insect enthusiasts are welcome to attend.
California Botanical Society	The Society publishes the journal Madroño on ecology, systematics, floristics, conservation biology, and other areas of organismal botany. The Society holds monthly lectures at UC Berkeley during the academic year and sponsors annual to biennial graduate student meetings and an annual banquet at various locations in California.
Botanical Society of America	Promotes botany and provides formal and informal education about plants
Cal Flora	Searchable database of over 8,000 vascular plants, many with photos
California Native Plant Society	A statewide non-profit organization of amateurs and professionals with a common interest in California's native plants
